L'oreal Magic Smooth Souffle Foundation

Hey everyone! So I purchased this foundation about 3 months ago. Its a newer foundation, and you can purchase it at most drugstores. I love the dream matte mousse, so I thought I should try this to see if its similar. The texture is really unique. The dream matte mousse is more clumpy, while this is very fluffy, creamy & soft. It really feels like a souffle. Now when I first started using this foundation my skin was very oily all over. This went over my skin nicely, gave me medium coverage and my skin looked very smooth. I feel like you really don't need to set it with a powder, because it has a very powder like finish. I have set it with powder before and it does make it last longer. It controlled my oil pretty well, but it only lasted around 6 hours. Recently though I've started getting dry patches on my skin, I'm still very oily on my t-zone area but I have horrible dry patches around my cheeks. I tried this foundation and it was HORRIBLE! I gripped to those dry patches awfully. I looked nasty. Therefore if you have very oily skin this is a great foundation but if you have the slightest dry patch don't waste the money, as this is a pricey drugstore foundation.

Sigma Brushes Review!

Hi my loves! I know it seems like every time I do a blog post I'm apologizing for not  posting anything but I'm going to do it again. I'm sorry! I've been out of town for the past two weeks and haven't been able to post. I'm back and my goal is to post everyday this week! Alright so today I'm reviewing a couple brushes I have. I ordered from Sigma Makeup about a month and a half ago and got the F80(flat top kabuki) and the F40(MAC 224 Dupe). The shipping was fast & everything came great. I had been using those brushes for about a month, they were working great! I didn't have any problems with shedding, and I washed them about once a week. So two weeks ago, it was a tuesday night, I was washing all my brushes. When I started washing the F40 I noticed it was shedding, (which it had shed one or two hairs before then but that wasn't a problem). When I say shedding I mean it was SHEDDING! I have seriously 30-40 hairs in my hand. I sent Sigma an email that night and they replied to me by 11:00 the next day! They said I had received a defective brush and that they would be sending me a new one asap. I got an email at 2:00 the same day saying that it had been shipped and I received the brush that friday! Therefore I'm SUPER impressed with their customer service and will be ordering from them again.

The brush quality themselves is amazing! They are cheap brushes & great quality. Since I received the new E40 its amazing! I love the F80 for foundation. I you love the ELF powder brush get this! Its a shorter more denser version of it and I like it better! The E40 is a great blending brush for eyeshadow. Its my favorite. If you have smaller eyes I wouldn't recommend it though because it is quite big! Overall I think these brushes are amazing! I think everyone should try them.

Thanks!

Hard Candy Glamoflauge Concealer Review

So I purchased this concealer a couple weeks ago because of all the hype its been getting. Its a 6 dollar concealer, and its only sold at walmart. Hard Candy claims on the back of the box it comes in that this product can cover tattoos. I wouldn't know if it did since I don't have any.. haha but if anyone uses this for that let me know how it works! I really do like this concealer. It takes seriously the smallest bit to cover under my eyes. Its pretty incredible. For blemishes I'm not completely sold on it yet. I think it spreads around a little to much for spot concealing. Although if you had a little area of breakouts it would be great for concealing that larger area. The only real problem I have with it is that its kind of difficult to spread. It doesn't just glide under your eyes, so if you have sensitive under eye ares I wouldn't recommend this. If you don't have a problem and don't mind working a bit harder its a great concealer! It provides great coverage! Now on to the pencil. I do like this pencil for concealing SMALL blemishes, but what I really love it for is lining my eyes. I don't know if its eye safe or not but it hasn't given me any problems. It reminds me of those Mac eyeliners that came out a couple months ago. I love it though! Its a wonderful alternative to white on your waterline! Overall I think this is a great concealer, and for 6 bucks you can't beat it! So go try it out and let me know what you guys think :)

UDPP vs. Michael Todd Eyeshadow Base(Review)

Hi my loves! So today I'm going to talk about eyeshadow primers. I have a couple but today I'm just going to compare two. First I would like to thank you guys for supporting my blog! You don't know how much it means to me! Please tell all your friends about my blog :)

Okay, so today I'm comparing the Urban Decay Primer Potion vs. the Michael Todd Eyeshadow Base. I've had the MTEB for about 2 months, and the UDPP for about 1. The textures are way different, the UDPP being more thin and sheer with the Michael Todd being more thick and creamy. I find the UDPP doesn't cover vains and any discoloration in the eye area, which can be seen through eyeshadows. The Michael Todd, with it being a thicker formula does cover vains. Also I find that the MT makes the shadows way more vibrant than the UDPP. I found that blending with the UDPP is HORRIBLE! The shadows get all patchy and stick to random places and more than once I've had to take off the shadows and restart. The Michael Todd makes blending the shadows wonderful! Its so easy with that primer! The lasting power is pretty similar so if thats all you want than you can get either one. Obviously my pick is the Michael Todd Eyeshadow Base. I think though if I had the UDPP first I would love it. I don't understand how people can have that as their HG primer. The Michael Todd is worlds better.
